Dighton selectmen approve three dispatchers and elevate two to management roles. The Board of Selectmen unanimously advanced the appointments in a series of 3-0 votes, appointing Julia Duzan, Ladyana Martinez, and Jake LaPlante as part-time 911 Communications Personnel and elevating Ashley Daigneault to Department Manager of Inspectional Services and Heather Nicora to Department Manager of the Sewer Department. Nicora, a seven-year Highway Department veteran, was joined by Conservation Commission appointee Jason Lawrence in the slate of personnel moves.
The board also unanimously waived the town's right of first refusal on an 80-acre Williams Street property with a current offer of $1.3 million, after recommendations from the Board of Assessors, Planning Board, and Conservation Commission.
