DIGHTON — Board of Health approves permits and budget revisions unanimously. The board voted to approve seven permit applications including stables, food vendors, and disposal works operators, along with three stormwater permits; unanimously endorsed budget revisions; and authorized staff to solicit three competitive bids for pay-as-you-throw bag contracts exceeding 10,000 dollars, citing the absence of a current contract with vendor Waste Zero. Health Agent Elizabeth reported certificates caught up during slow winter months.
Town Nurse Rebecca announced a mammogram van for March 11 serving 15 residents at no cost and an April 11 blood drive at the COA.
