Board of Health votes to separate stormwater committee

Dighton Board of Health seeks stormwater committee independence. The board voted unanimously Thursday to request that the Stormwater Committee be separated from Health Department oversight and established as an independent committee under the Board of Selectmen. Nancy Goulart presented stormwater regulation changes funded by a $45,000 ARPA grant with a September 1st deadline.
The board also unanimously approved eight vendor permits and voted to recommend Ashley as the new office manager, noting the growing volume of permits in the health office. The next meeting is scheduled for June 16 at 2 p.m.
