DIGHTON — Conservation Commission approves four development applications and accepts new associate member. The board unanimously approved notices of intent for single-family home construction at Hunter's Hill (Map 21, Lot 127H) and 2161 Wheeler Street, with conditions including buffer zone restoration, native plantings, and stormwater controls, and approved access road improvements for Massachusetts Electric Company at Chestnut Street. Three applications, including a Zeneca proposal to lower Muddy Cove Pond water levels, were continued to June 18.
Chairman Jim Digits noted the Commission prevailed in court against the state Department of Environmental Protection over the contested Strawberry Fields development. Jason Lawrence was unanimously accepted as an associate member.
