Dighton Conservation Commission approves subdivision and bridge replacement. The board unanimously approved the Bell Farm Estates 26-lot residential subdivision with wetland mitigation requiring plantings of 16 trees and 60 shrubs in a 25-foot buffer zone and 100 trees and 300 shrubs in a 100-foot buffer zone. The Commission also unanimously approved a MassDOT bridge-replacement project at Pleasant Street over Muddy Cove Brook affecting approximately 12,730 square feet of protected resource areas.
The state Department of Environmental Protection imposed work-timing restrictions and requirements for sheet-pile removal, salt-marsh protection, and stormwater management. Two applications for wetland-impact review were continued to April 16.
