Dighton 250th Anniversary Committee unanimously approves $2,455 bronze plaque for veterans memorial. The committee, chaired by Pat Galles, green-lit the US Bronze plaque measuring 24 inches by 18 inches for mounting on a granite monument at the Veterans Circle. The three-day colonial reenactment and living history encampment is set for September 25 through 27, 2026, at Bristol County Agricultural High School, with a Michael LePage Paul Revere impersonator presentation scheduled for September 27 at noon.

Committee member Tom Ferry was authorized to move the granite stone to the stone cutter. The committee's current cash balance stands at $18,561.05, bolstered by $337 in candy sales, $490 in coin sales, and a $400 Cultural Council Grant for a March 1 Rachel Revere presentation.
