Dighton's Board of Health votes to recommend a farmers market to selectmen after strong community interest expressed on social media. Board Chair Tammy Mello and members also approved a request to seek selectmen permission for a Health Department Facebook page with monthly health newsletters from the town nurse. Ferrara Construction Corp and tabled trash-bag price increases pending review of waste-collection bids. Waste disposal costs have risen approximately $12,000, with bag prices increasing roughly $2,000.
