Dighton boards review FY27 departmental budgets

Dighton's Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee convened to review fiscal 2027 departmental budgets. The joint meeting was held March 3, 2027 according to official minutes. Town Administrator Ralph Vitacco provided an overview of the budget process including revenues and expenditures with and without debt exclusion options.
Fire Chief Christopher Maguy presented the Fire Department budget and requested a Reserve Fund Transfer. The Bristol County Agricultural High School budget was presented by Business Manager Sam Stone. The meeting included presentations from more than 20 town departments and operations before adjourning at 8:24 p.m.
