Dighton Library Board of Trustees votes unanimously to authorize roof repairs and donor plaques. The Board unanimously approved on August 13 a $6,350 roof repair for the 207 Main Street building, addressing a recent leak where external shingle work is complete, with interior ceiling work in the Children's Room to follow. The board also approved $1,920 for two donor acknowledgement plaques at $960 each, recognizing financial and in-kind contributors to the library building project.

Library Director Mark Procknik reported interior work will proceed once contractors confirm the exterior repairs have resolved the leak. The board accepted the Highway Department landscape design plan for the campus and parking lots with three modifications requested during discussion.
