DIGHTON SEWER COMMISSION APPROVES FY 2027 BUDGET

Dighton sewer board unanimously approves FY 2027 budget and reports ongoing pump issues. The Board of Sewer Commissioners unanimously backed the budget during its January 12 meeting, with Tom Ferry, Mark Nicora, Superintendent Harold Gracia, and Dianne Curtis present. The commission also unanimously approved a drain layer license renewal for MID Engineering of Rehoboth.

Superintendent Gracia reported persistent pump-station problems, including high-level alarms at the Bristol County Agricultural School facility occurring on five of six school days this year, with each incident taking two minutes to two hours to clear.
