The committee unanimously appointed Dennis Souza as a new member and voted to establish working groups to address past quorum challenges. Planned 2026 initiatives include a small business networking event, a promotion of local food vendors modeled on a Taunton program, and a vendor fair on Spratt Field.

Committee member Laura Smith, Vice-President of Bristol County Agricultural High School's Board of Trustees, agreed to explore partnership opportunities during the school's annual Fall Show, which draws approximately 9,000 visitors to Dighton each year.
