Dighton selectmen, Finance Committee approve Fire Department software purchase. The Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee, meeting jointly for departmental budget reviews, approved a Reserve Fund Transfer Request from the Fire Department to purchase reporting system software from their current provider. Thirteen departments presented proposed fiscal 2027 budgets, including the D-R Regional School District, Bristol-Plymouth Regional Vocational High School, Council on Aging, and Police Department.
The board discussed scheduling a separate appointment with Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School, which did not attend this session.
