Dighton Historical Commission approves $625 budget and assigns commissioners to survey 100 properties. The commission unanimously approved the fiscal year 2027 budget and assigned commissioners to survey at least 100 historical properties. Members Patricia Gailes, Zach Caron, Rafa Delfin, Patricia Olsen, Shara Costa, and Irene Allie divided survey responsibilities geographically.
The commission also advanced ongoing projects including an oral history series and a time capsule installation scheduled for the January 15 Board of Selectmen meeting.
