The commission unanimously approved $79.97 for Wellington anniversary materials and $163.18 for Gaylord archival boxes for glass negatives, leaving a balance of $209.41 in its fiscal year 2026 budget. Highway superintendent Tom Ferry will build a time capsule measuring 14 by 14 by 9 inches from salvaged materials from the demolished James Briggs House, with a lock to be purchased separately.
The commission updated its historical house marker application to clarify that plaques remain with buildings after occupants change, and a plaque honoring Catherine Yelle will be presented to her family at the June 10 Board of Selectmen meeting.
