Dighton Library Trustees accept historical document, advance planning. The board voted unanimously to accept a framed 1873 Gazetteer of Massachusetts entry about Dighton from donor Connor Heaney and declined a craft fair poster from Myrna Santos after Trustee Dave Marvill reported guidance from Dighton Historic Commission Chair Pat Gailes. Library Director Mark Procknik reported that the ADA grant received an October 31 deadline extension for the final report, and the Board of Selectmen approved posting of a Library Page position that will free Technical Services Librarian Kathy Molinsky from page duties.
The strategic plan survey goes to the Friends for feedback before the August 13 meeting.
