Dighton Sewer Board reorganizes; approves $125K Power Plant upgrade. The Board of Sewer Commissioners unanimously elected Mark Nicora as Chairman and re-elected Thomas Ferry as Clerk at its May 4 meeting. The board also authorized $125,000 for Power Plant station upgrades.
Superintendent Harold Gracia said he is considering a connection moratorium at the Power Plant and Bristol County Agricultural High School pump stations and plans to schedule wet well cleaning across all facilities. Gracia reported that a level control alarm at the Lincoln Avenue station, which had been repeatedly activating, was traced to a transducer problem and a loose wire in the control panel, both now corrected.
