Planning Board continues solar, subdivision hearings to June 3

DIGHTON — Planning Board votes to continue two major hearings set for June 3. The board voted unanimously to continue Trinity Solar's hearing on a 12-foot-high, 62-foot-long solar array at 1205 Briggs Street after abutters complained of excessive size and visibility concerns; a site visit will assess screening needs. The Roderick Hart's Memory subdivision application also continued pending engineering review.
The board recommended the Board of Selectmen waive the town's right of first refusal on an Antonio Almeida property at 0 Williams Street. Stormwater Committee Chairman Nancy Goulart reported $45,000 in ARPA funds must be spent by September 1 and flagged coordination gaps where a residential Hart Street project's two buildings received inconsistent stormwater compliance review.
