DIGHTON — Planning Board proposes solar moratorium to meet state deadline. With Vice Chairman Daniel Higgins presiding in the absence of Chairman Jeffrey Carvalho, the Planning Board proposed a temporary moratorium on solar electric generating facilities and energy storage installations to address recent state regulatory changes. The board unanimously approved the Planning Board's 2025 Annual Report, which documented 19 meetings held and approval of nine Form A applications, eight Special Permits and Site Plan Reviews, and one Definitive Subdivision during 2025.
