Selectmen approve mailer for school debt ballot questions
Board of Selectmen · Meeting of March 4, 2026
Dighton selectmen approve April ballot mailer for school bonds with disclaimer. The Board voted unanimously to approve language for two regional school debt exclusion questions, adding a disclaimer clarifying that the Finance Committee and Republican Town Committee, not the Board, drafted the campaign positions. The two exclusions would authorize approximately $950,000 in combined annual tax revenue for Bristol County Agricultural High School District and Bristol-Plymouth Regional Vocational Technical School District bond projects.
The Selectmen also accepted Building Commissioner William McGrady's resignation and approved a job posting for his replacement, with applications due March 19.
