Stormwater Committee Extends Emond Plumbing Permit Through 2028
Stormwater Committee · Meeting of March 18, 2026
DIGHTON — Stormwater Committee extends Emond Plumbing construction permit through February 2028, deferring inspection-cost dispute. Committee Chairman Nancy Goulart and members voted unanimously March 18 to extend the permit for Emond Plumbing's construction site at 2231 Elm Street through February 15, 2028, contingent on a $65 fee and written confirmation. The committee faces a dispute with applicant Jennifer Heeney over a $10,360 Weston & Sampson proposal for ongoing site visits and inspections; Heeney argues the scope exceeds the original approval.
Emond Plumbing will be revisited April 15. The committee also voted unanimously to request additional W&S testing for the MA CS (Araujo's) Solar Farm regarding basin capacity and drain time.
