DIGHTON — December 22, 2025 — Dighton Board of Assessors approved all FY 2026 tax warrant commitments at a special December 22 session, authorizing more than $12 million in billings across real estate, personal property, and district accounts. The largest single warrant covered general real estate taxes at $10,954,658.30, with personal property commitments totaling $1,621,956.05. Two members — identified only as Eric and Bill — were present; a third member, Nancy, joined briefly by phone near adjournment. The board also acted on a new category of pilot billing under revised state law, directing the town collector to bill GHTJA03, LLC $54,865 and MMA CS Dighton, LLC $82,134 for FY 2026 payment-in-lieu-of-taxes amounts — the first billing cycle under the new framework, with quarterly scheduling adjustments planned for future years.
