Dighton Open Space Committee sets October 3 as target date for first townwide cleanup day with Parks and Recreation. The committee also reported a promising contact with Wildlands Trust, a regional land conservation organization open to partnering with Dighton on land acquisition and land trust formation, and declined to take a formal position on the Dighton Planning Board's recommendation that the town's Stormwater Committee be disbanded, with Gale stating, "I don't think it's really our place" as a committee.
