DIGHTON -- February 18, 2026, Dighton Select Board voted unanimously to enter executive session for labor negotiations and records review. The three-member board, Chair Peter Karen, Nicole Melo, and Mark Pico, convened at Old Town Hall on February 18 and immediately moved behind closed doors, citing Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30A, Section 21A. Pico made the motion, which Melo seconded, covering collective bargaining strategy with non-union personnel, clerical union impact bargaining, litigation strategy, and approval of executive session minutes from January 14, 2026. The roll-call vote was 3-0 in favor, and no substantive business was conducted in open session.
